Call to Arms - Skarsgardian Invasion!

The barbaric Skarsgardians cannot maintain a state of peace, and have viciously attacked our southern borders. Will their bloodlust never be sated?

We call upon the United Nations to send in peacekeepers, and if need be - push them back to remove the threat since they have shown they cannot be trusted.

We have thanked the Scottish for their help in the past, and they have said they will come and help again in our time of need. We are eternally grateful for their pledge of assistance in keeping long-term peace on our continent, and keeping the peoples free from slavery and depravity, both of which are hallmarks of the beastly Skarsgardians. They have mistreated our women in past invasions, and have the same foul designs once again.

We are hopeful our Greek friends will assist once again in this matter as well.

Wei will respond to thwart this latest act of aggression against Carolingia.

It is possible that the surest way to get the Skarsgardian troops home is an invasion of Skarsgardian lands ... should Wei make such a show of force, other capitals should not panic, as Wei is not intending an expansion, but simply attempting to force a recall of Skarsgardian forces.

I am disappointed, but not surprised, to see this latest and senseless act of aggression from the Skarsgardians.  For some time now their government has been showing signs of neglect, at best, and Absolute Insanity (AI) at worst.  Stability and peace cannot be assured as long as Skarsgardia remains a failed state, with no leader at its helm.

The Carolignians have agreed to become a Scottish protectorate, and we will help them fend off this latest attack and bring the failed Skarsgardian state under their control, to prevent Skarsgardia from remaining a breeding ground for more random and violent acts.

For the sake of our troops and the peace and stability of the region, we trust the war will be swift and casualties will be low.

The Skarsgardians have been trading partners of Aidern in the past, but with the chaos of the war, and their ensuing ultra-nationalist Absolute Insanity on a government level, they have become truly barbaric.

Aidern pledges its support in the effort to suppress this incorrigible entity that House Skarsgard has become.

This invasion is completely un-called for. The Skarsgardian people are clearly looking for leadership and direction since the mysterious disappearance of their leader.

Their declaration of 'war' on carolingia was clearly the work of a small minority of misguided people who did not understand the situation. Such a diplomatic situation could and should have been resolved peacefully - why then must the nations of Wei and Scotland continue their military tactics against an undefended nation?

This aggression is the sign of nations who cannot control their lust for war.

Nothing could be more laughable than an accusation of Wei having a lust for war coming from The Founders.  Everyone knows who has grown from war conquests, and who has not.

Now, if Scotland had an uncontrollable lust for war, I believe there would now be very little left of the Founders Empire.  So that argument is equally laughable.

What paints The Founders as warmongers is the truth (with a small "t", not to be confused with The Founders proprietary version of it, "The Truth" with a capital "T" ... we all know the name for "proprietary truth", don't we?  It also starts with a "p" ... )  This real truth was as plain to everyone on the other continent as it was to Greece and Wei (and of course, to Carolingia, the initially invaded party in the Interminable War).

The one thing we know would have been foolish would have been to allow the Founder Alliance to march its military unopposed across our continent, which its behavior gave every indication that it planned to do.
