Greece has taken the end of the long war, and our current economic and social boom, to overhaul many of the old institutions of Greek governance. 

Though the Senate still remains the chief governing body of Greece, the reorganization has caused the organization of the Greek state to bear more in common with the modern notions of Democracy.
