We have not heard from the Leaders of the Grendal City States about moving toward the restoration of Carolingia, or the broader issue of peace.
The influence of the Founders with their allies appears to have waned, as the Founders predicted.

Therefore, Greece and Wei are exerting "influence" on the Grendal City States at Olantaytambo.  We are advising the Founder expeditionary forces to leave that area, since without the Gren at the peacetable, an active state of war still exists between Wei and Grendal, and we would wish to avoid third party forces suffering any unintended damage.

That is an over zealous approach which clearly shows the reaons Wei are in this war in the first place - for carnage and destruction.

The Grendal city states are still reeling from your previous attacks. Your movements will only make further communication more difficult with the Grendal government as messages get delayed among the more important orders to troops defending their cities.

Withdraw immediately that peace can continue - do not attempt to stir up trouble yet again for your own ends.

As a third party nation, we declare and demand that all military units HALT operations NOW.  Thus if you wish to meet your own doom as well.  Scotland still have military units on your continent and our forces are arriving as well.  Do not take for granted that you small countries still fighting and causing problems are in the clear now that the Founders are vassels of Agarthia.   How would a joint Agarthia(Foiunders)/Scotland attack on you sound if you will not lay down arms?  We now have control of Founder military units and can advise them to do what we wish, DO NOT tempt us.   Grenlock and Da Vinci, your time is up and you must return your forces home NOW.  We are asking Scotland to send scouts and air ships to the area to scout and see who is telling the truth and who is lying.

It would appear that our maneuvers have had the intended effect ... to awaken the leaders of Grendal to their need to adhere to their part of the path to peace.  Wei is willing to withdraw its forces back to within its borders, on the assumption that Grendal will complete the process of making Carolingia whole, and reach a peace settlement with Greece, Carolingia, and Wei.

Wei has no quarrel with Gren, other than Gren's participation in the dismembering of Carolingia as part of the Founder Alliance.  It was an unfortunate accident of geography that Gren was the target of proximity for Wei's Terra Cotta Army and Navy, as a second front of the war to take pressure off of Greece at a critical moment. Of course, had Gren not been at war alongside The Founders, it would not have made itself a target.

If our show of force has stirred up undue worries in foreign capitals, we apologize ... perhaps this recommendation for a public display, which came from our communications advisor Qim Chang Eel, was a bit over the top.

Can we assume that Agarthia will be as dilligent in holding Gren, France, and Nomads to their obligations as you were in reacting to our "pressure" on Gren?

My dear DribNairb, you can't seriously expect to paint Wei as the evil aggressor in all of this, can you?

Wei, in fact, has proved to be the tiny little linchpin that undid the great Founder dreams of continental conquest.  While no doubt the power of Greece and the intervention of Scotland have held the day, the marginal impact of Wei, first in providing troops, and later with its Terra Cotta Army and Navy, was just enough to keep Greece intact and stop a Founder rampage across the continent.

Wei has not had any territorial gains from this war as a result of conquest.  Wei did use severe tactics against Gren, but no more severe than the tactics used against Wei and Carolingia by The Founders.  War is war.  We fought to preserve ourselves, Greece, and Carolingia.  Can The Founders point to an equally innocent history of the use of force?  I think not.

Not at all - I merely wish to point out that Wei has consistently attempted to stir up trouble from the moment they declared war on us.

Provocative, incitive and misguided - yes. Evil? hardly.

I believe had you not got involved in something it is clear you still do not understand there would have been peace centuries ago. Carolingian cities would have been in a much better state (as would yours, Gren's and Skarsardia's).

I'm sure your response to this will attempt to state that you do understand. Yet yours is the only civ in the entire world who seems to have misunderstood the meaning of a peace deal and moved in on a city of Gren.
