The Origins of the Cuzcan City States
At first, there were two tribes in the Cuzcan Genesis, the Techullans and the Acamans. The Techullans dominated the Acamans, being the people of administrators and builders, whereas the Acamans were the farmers and ranchers of the Cuzcans. Techullans and Acaman were thus the two first towns settled by the Cuscans, and were thus the cradle for the Cuzcan City States.
To the north came the capital of Techulla, situated nicely by the river of Truyasco, where the Cuzcans could from their nicely designed terraces observe vast herds of grazing elephants in the east, hot forests in the direct north, as well as dense jungles to the east and west and over the sunburnt and barren hills to the south, the Yumaca Heights, there was a land of grazing buffalos and fields of bountiful crops of corn, surrounded by lush forests hanging their branches gently over the Opayaco River. In the Yumaca hills themselves, there was numerous wildboars living of loose roots, rodents and worms, but the boars themselves tasted most favorable after some careful grilling.
The leadership of the Cuzcan City States was fervently dominated by Techulla, which hosted the strongest families of the Cuzcans, and there was something reminiscient of a palace, a massive stone building, built in the same style as the many terraces surrounding the city. There were two groups of warriors, named the Quechas, that trained themselves on wildboars and elephants, in anticipation of greater, bipedal dangers. In many ways, the Cuzcan City States were already civilized, and in some ways not. Life had little value, and was short and grim. Women were there for breeding, and men for killing, and children raised to fulfill either of these roles.
Only their new leader, Provochuco, was to make a change to their static and miserable lives, and add some ambition to them.
