Citizens of Scotland,

We have entered a dark chapter in the history of mankind.  After centuries of peace and prosperity, Scotland faces a new and dangerous threat.  The Founders, long at war with our democratic cousins in Greece, have started work on weapons of mass destruction, doomsday devices so powerful that they could destroy Scotland and threaten the very existence of mankind itself.  A device so unimaginable in its power that even the horrors of slavery pale in comparison.

Such desperate times call for desperate measures.  Scotland's Royal Marines have already taken the first steps to curtail this terrible threat, capturing several cities on the eastern seaboard and destroying a major military base, as well as capturing the Founders' capital where the marines were able to recover valuable scientific data before rioting slaves burned the city to the ground.  These poor oppressed peoples have now taken refuge in the nearby Scottish base of Enlightenment, where their stories of their suffering at the hands of the Founders continue to astonish and appall - with many thousands having died in the recent rushed production of the Founders flagship battleship alone.

Fellow Scots, we have struck a potent blow, but we still face a grave and terrible threat.  Work on the Manhattan project continues undaunted.  Scotland once again must call on its sons and daughters to face a far greater evil than ever before.  It is time, once again, to set aside the distractions of modern life and stand united against a great and terrible danger. 

The threat of nuclear apocalypse will be faced, and met.  Peace and Democracy will prevail.

Unspeakable Nihilistic Founders Research, yesterday

The Greek Senate has issued a resolution condemning the pursuit of nuclear weapons, and supporting international sanctions against any nations who attempt to develop, manufacture, or use such weapons. 

The resolution further commends Scotland for taking action against the threat, for the protection of the world as a whole, and recommending that other free nations do all they can to remove the tyrant DribNairb from power, freeing the Founder people and the western continent from the brutal war that has been waged in the name of religious extremism for years.

The Founders concede the pursuit of nuclear weapons is something which would not be attempted. In my haste to bring a deterrent to your continued harbouring of a criminal I allowed myself to be persuaded that research into the power of The One was acceptable. This has proven to be a grave mistake.

But how dare greece attempt to manipulate the current situation to their own ends. To suggest that others should attempt to invade is ridiculous. To suggest I am a tyrant is completely unbelieveable. To try and state that the Western continent is only at war because of The Founders is complete madness - we have been trying for peace for centuries. And to try and compare The Truth to religious extremism is blasphemy of the utmost. Following The Path is no mere religion. It is The Truth. It is the will of The One.
