First Senator Fosse this morning revealed that, according to a recent vote in the Senate, the American territory is to be put under military occupation for the duration of the ongoing war against the Founders.

"Given the recent conversion of the American leader's to the so-called "path," and and his erratic and dangerous behavior since that time, the Senate has determined that WarningU2 is acting as an abettor of the Founder perpetrated Genocide of the Carolingian people.  The Senate further believes that America's willingness to remain truly neutral in this affair signals an agreement with the Founders to use American territory as a staging ground against Greece."

It was mentioned that nowhere in the Senate decree are there articles to deal with the absorption and assimilation of American citizens, leading to speculation that the American lands would not be considered Greek territory.  "This is correct," a Senator was heard to report, "we don't have a system to govern the American territories beyond the occupation.  It would be my party's preference that the American people choose their own leader once the safety of our continent is assured."

American citizens are encouraged to move toward New York, which was once an American city, to avoid the war zone.  First Senator Fosse has said that no refugees are to be turned away.
