Operation Demonic Justice commences (1315 AD)

To the Avalonian People:

Due to your government's insistence on harboring fugitives from justice and its ongoing refusal to extradite those same fugitives, it is my unhappy duty to inform you that I have been directed by Vali Hopewell to deliver justice to the Avalonian Islands.  Internally, the Ministry of Peace is referring to these maneuvers as "Operation Demonic Justice" in memory of the demonic possession of Hismes and the ensuing slaughter of unarmed Dernish workers from generations past.

I seek to meet my mission's objectives with the lowest impact possible on the innocent citizens of Avalon.  Whenever conflict erupts, however, civilian casualties are inevitable.  You can help minimize these unfortunate collateral incidents by urging the soldiers fighting under your government's banner to lay down their arms and surrender peacefully to Aidern. They will be treated with respect as prisoners of war until such time that the war ceases.

Remember that it is your government's inexplicable actions in thumbing their nose at international justice which have caused this unfortunate conflict to occur.

This is unpleasant news.     Agarthia is very concerned about this war on our borders.  We will monitor the situation to insure that the sound of guns stay afar.  We are urging New Avalon and Aidern to find common ground.  In light of this crisis, the Agarthian Foreign Department (AFD) is warning citizens not to travel to the New Avalon nation and for citizens already there to evacuate as soon as possible.  We are working with the Babylonian government to use there coastal city of Nisdey as an escape route for our citizens
