The Founders have attempted every avenue for peace. greece has been significantly increasing their military recently, apparently in preparation for an attack on one or more nation who follows The Path.

My leader, DribNairb, sent an undercover agent to seek out and speak to the greek leadership to see if the peace talks could be kickstarted again. This agent deliberately avoided detection by carolingian forces in order to talk directly to the greek leadership - it is possible they have been misled by the blasphemy of carolingia.

However, we have not heard from the agent in sometime. We believe she may have been captured or killed. Her last report stated she had just entered greek lands and was about to attempt direct contact with the leadership.

We are left with no other option but to continue a military campaign. I pray for the souls of those who give their lives in the fight for The Truth.

Coalition troops arrived at the capital city of aachen to find it virtually deserted.

The aim of the current conflict has been to bring the small number of carolingian leaders to justice while attempting to avoid bloodshed of innocent civilians.

Unfortunately, the aachen palace was completely devoid of life. It seems that just before the coalition arrived the leaders fled and made home in prague. No doubt they forced the citizens there to build new luxurious accommodation for their own benefit.

I still hope that our enemies will see the error of their ways and return to the peace talks that they themselves started.

Our troops marched onwards towards Vienna. The French were the first to arrive.

Instead of the expected resistance we found the city deserted. Much of it was up in flames.

For a moment it seemed as if the fleeing villagers had chosen to burn their own homes instead of allow us to take control of the city. However, on closer inspection we have concluded that the carolingian people were forced out of their homes by military troops. Those who refused had their posessions burnt and their very lives threatened. I fear for their safety as the leaders of carolingia clearly intend to save their own skin without any regard for the lives of their countrymen.

Declassified report:

After an immense battle at the city of aachen, enemy forces re-took control with significant loss of life. Again, I feel for those poor souls who were forced to give their lives in order to provide power to those few at the top of the chain.

A lull in military action is now expected as both sides consider their options.

Word is coming through that the greek leadership may be undergoing yet another change. Perhaps their new government will come to understand the folly of helping those who attempt to undermine The Path? Their vassal is at fault, not the greek nation itself - peace is always attainable if only those in power could see The Truth.
