Our frontline troops reached the city of vienna deep inside the blasphemers territory. A nearby forest provides ample cover and allows us to make camp.

The 'peaceful' greeks have declared war on us and have forced their american neighbours to send troops also. They are garrisonning vienna leaving us with no choice but to await reinforcements.

I have been ordered to return from the frontline to attend talks. A greek ambassador has requested we consider a peaceful resolution to the current conflict. In accordance with learning from history The Founders will consider any sensible proposal. I must be there to consider the military implications of any tabled suggestions.

I have been at the peace talks for several days now. Nothing seems to be happening and my subordinates are getting impatient. Many are young and impetuous and have not yet learned that war is a last resort.

However, my leader DribNairb has tabled an initial proposal and is seeking responses. None seem to be forthcoming. Having stated our position we had thought other nations in the conflict would state their own position in order for negotiations to begin. I fear we may be being taken for fools.

No other nation currently in this war seems to be interested in further discussion. Despite our requests to table any suitable motions for discussion in order to come to a peaceful resolution, the foreign ambassadors seem to either be incoherent remarks, or remain stonily silent.

For this reason I will return to the frontline. I fear the requests for peace were simply designed to stall us while our enemies increased their military presence.

Our troops will not attack unless the talks break down completely. However, I must confess to being sceptical any useful outcome will come about.

The above was the last entry in General SenojNai's journal. While returning to the frontline he was killed in a flanked ambush by greek mounted units just after leaving the city of Ulm for the frontline.

The archery defenders in Ulm report from their vantage point. He went down only after succumbing to a continuous onslaught of suicidal maniacs. Perhaps the dokko mind control is still alive and well and is the cause of an outspoken peaceful nation suddenly going to war?

This attack was unprovoked and clearly only underlines the fact that our blasphemous enemies are merely trying to stall for time in requesting peaceful discussions.

The Founders will ensure at least one ambassador remains at the negotiation table should any sensible motions be put forward. However, given the current silence surrounding the peace talks and this unprovoked attack during a so-called temporary cease fire I am wary of anything our enemies would speak.

It is my unfortunate task to avenge the death of my predecessor and follow The Path to bring The Truth to all.
