The Defense of Grant City

After the losses that occured by the Imperium city of IX, the remaining troops retreated back to Grant City. We tried to communicate with the Imperium that we should have a calm to the situation. We recieved no reply. Therefore we had to prepare for the worst. Military officials re-organized the defeses of Agarthia to cope with a mild threat that Millcc would invade. We believed that he would not as he was bogged down by the Babylonians and Geronimo. On a stormy night, our lands were invaded. Never before has Agarthia been attacked on her own soil. The garrisons in Grant City were no match for the berserkers and longbow men. They tried there best. Catapults launched against the Imperium army greatly injured alot of them. The problem was that Millcc forces were very well trained. Even with injuries, they broke through our defenses. After a few hours our forces were defeated. Then they burned the city. This is a barbaric act that has been the tradition of the Imperium. With army completly destroyed, we must look to our citizens to protect Agarthia.
