Hunt for Yourcenean War Criminals
Dernport, Aidern 950 AD

Aidern's top judge has drawn a line in the sand regarding fugitive Yourcenean war criminals.

Minister of Peace TullFawntrip announced, "While war criminals from Yourcenae may have slipped through the fingers of the Dernish Naval Force (DNF), they cannot hide from the long arm of the law."

The announcement arrived on the heels of public outcry.  With the Demonic Triad put to sleep, many Dernish citizens have been wondering why the Yourcenean war criminals continue to escape justice.

"I lost my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather from that blasted Yourcenean ghost," decried Hoofport resident NixDrenchwood.  "It may have been a long time ago, but the Yourceneans never even bothered to apologize.  They just blamed their killin' on ghosts, and I'm supposed to just drop it?"

Interjected his cousin, BlickDrenchwood, "That wound has never healed."

Minister of Peace TullFawntrip met with concerned family members whose ancestors were massacred millennia ago, at a work camp near Hoofport.  The assailants were Yourcenean warriors, who fled and were never brought to justice.  The Yourcenean government maintained that that killers were not guilty under grounds of "spiritual possession," a legal argument which is still not recognized in Aidern.

"We will bring these alleged war criminals back to Aidern, to stand trial." TullFawntrip summarized, "This is something their own ancestors never had to do, but it's a new era where the law cannot be ignored."

The international community has been asked to send word to the Dernish Ministry of Peace if any insight to the whereabouts of Yourcenean fugitives can be given.

OOC:  Should I send a worker off wandering by himself, simply to fulfill Levgree/Eleutherius' sense of humor?  Tongue
