Forgive my apparent silence during this time of uncertainty. I sometimes forget that there are those who do not follow The Path yet show an interest in our actions.

As it has been since the dawn of time, The Founders follow The Path. Those who do not will come and go. Those who disrespect The Truth will be struck down for their blasphemy.

Carolus Maltman has committed serious blasphemy by failing to even acknowledge the existence of The One while basking in the glory. He (or one of his subordinates) is responsible for stealing from the treasury of The One. They will pay for their sins. The citizens of Carolingia will be re-educated in the ways of The Truth. I call upon all those who follow The Path to stand up united in this cause. Those who follow The Path know how beneficial it is and their citizens are far happier because of it.

There is no need for violence. We have the capability, but no wish to use it. We call upon the Carolingian army to stand down their arms and allow our teachers into their cities. I hope the leaders learn from history – there is no need for every man, woman and child to suffer due to the terrible actions of a small minority in their leadership. It is unfortunate that we have had to declare war before opening any serious diplomatic negotiations, but it was a necessary step.

My advisors have suggested that I provide The World with further information on my decision. For those who follow The Path the choice is simple. However, there are those who choose to neither accept nor deny The Truth. For such people I will endeavour to enlighten them:

Many years ago The Founders declared war on the dokko. Their telepathic leaders had been building an advanced army and brainwashing their own citizens. To what cause is still uncertain, but all are agreed it was not good. All civilizations on this world have benefitted from our actions and those of the coalition.

However, during this time there were many nations who were reluctant to do anything about the situation. carolingia – as a neighbour of the dokko – benefitted greatly despite having no risk. Their leader did not respond to our requests to join in the war.

During the war though, an illegal iron trade was being carried out between the West and the dokko. This trade could only be taking place via smuggling routes within Carolingian borders. Upon request to stem the flow of iron the carolingian leader agreed – upon payment of a large sum of cash. However, the smuggling still took place and many numbers of Founders, French and dokko died needlessly simply because of this greed. carolingia had the capability to prevent this crisis but chose to ignore it – despite having accepted payment to ensure it did not happen. Requests to reconcile the situation by declaring war (thereby preventing the illegal trade) fell on deaf ears.

More recently, we have had blatant stealing directly from our treasury. Such an act steals directly from The One. Clearly the greed is not fulfilled.

You should note that to support carolingia in this war will be to support the anarchist rule of deceit and thievery. Should the culprit(s) repent we will consider the situation.

For self-proclaimed followers of the Truth, you are intent on spreading lies and deception.

In the matter of the war against the Dokkos, we acceded to your demand to close our borders within 1 turn of your contacting us. We had to redeploy our troops to cover our border with them, in the even they saw this as an act of war against them. They asked for our assistance in fighting against the Truth, and we denied them. And we rejected their demands to trade them the iron they asked for in the fight, since it went against your honourable request. And we did not benefit at all from losing our pre-war trading partner the Dokkos, it was you and your allies that took their cities.

If the iron trade continued, it was due to some third nation, and if they crossed through our borders in that trade, its a fact that we were unaware of. Since you did nothing to ask us to assist in that, how could we know your Truth?

In the current environment, my country does not have any active spies, nor have we since the end of the war with our neighbours the Greeks. So your charges are trumped up, inaccurate, and go against any Truth you claim to follow. We find the whole situation disgusting.

If this is how you treat someone who assisted you in the past, on demand, and never rejected a request - let this serve as a warning to all nations that you bend to your will. Those that come in the name of Truth cannot be trusted, unless that Truth serves their coffers and their bellies.

We ask that all nations that love freedom view this and decide their responses accordingly.

And was that my fault? I aknowledge that you asked me to cut my diplomatic ties with the Dokkos, and not to supply them with Iron, and in return you sent shipments of your own to assist my people in the times of peace. We did exactly as you asked. You never asked us to cut diplomatic ties with any other nations, yet now you accuse me of purposefully allowing trade through my country, when I could not even know this trade was taking place.

And now my people deserve to die for what they do not know?

Your efforts to isolate the Dokkos failed not because of what I did, but because of what you did not do. Now you try to punish us for your own diplomatic failures or lack of foresight.

And none of my people of any kind - military, intelligence or otherwise have ever crossed your borders. I have never seen within the walls of your cities. If I even have a map of your lands it comes from the hands of former trading partners. (OOC - I'm not even sure of that, and its possible I could trade a neutral party a map segment of your lands showing that I have never crossed your borders - I can check on next login.) In fact, the only time my explorers reached your borders you accused us of fomenting unrest and sending barbarian tribes into your lands - yet another not-so-Truthful proclamation.

I ask for international adjudication of the situation. We must protect our people from the rape and pillage of foreign invaders and their allies.

Nobody deserves to die. Their lives are in your hands. If you learn from the failed leaderships of the past - those who openly oppose The Truth will be struck down, yet those who follow The Path lead an enriched and fruitful life.

It is a simple choice - but one you seem unable to make. Your people will not be harmed if you lay down arms and allow the teachings of The One to be passed on.

Behold the words of one who knows his end is near and his wicked ways are finishing. It is shocking how someone who prevents his own people from learning of The Path will try to convince others that The Truth is zealotry. How then, have so many nations peacefully chosen to follow The Path? Those who refuse to believe are discarded - as has been prophesised since the dawn of time.

As a 'leader' you seem to fall into the same camp as the governors of long dead nations. The Path shows you the way. The outcome is clear. The problem is your own arrogance. Yet STILL you refuse to believe The Truth.

Clearly there is no reasoning with you. As The Founders of this world we will remove you from office. I am sure another will rise to lead your people in the right direction. When you are gone I know what remains of your nation will benefit greatly. I only pray you see this soon and do not send yet more of your own people to die for your own selfish needs.
