The Buddhist creed of peace and tolerance is antithetical to the Founders creed of carrying out violence against those who disagree with them.  The Greeks will defend the Carolingian lands from the invaders, until they are repelled and peace and tolerance is restored.

Violence is not our way. We have only resorted to aggressive moves when our enemies failed to see their errors and sent their own troops to their deaths. In EVERY case we have always given such people a chance to repent, lay down arms and live to see The Truth.

Disagreeing with The Truth is not cause for war. You will note we have no quarrel with the buddist greeks. Speaking out against The Truth  - seeking to undermine The Path - such blasphemy is cause for war.

Woo Li, our most senior Monk, has asked me to convey this parable:

" A man brutally rapes a woman (perhaps he was Skarsgardian?).  When he is done, the woman is sobbing bitterly.  The man says to the woman: 'It is not my fault that you did not relax and enjoy it!'

Does that justify the man's actions?"
