Welcome, stranger in a strange vessel, to the coastal waters of Aidern.  Your ships are impressive and seem capable of transporting wondrous trade resources from your faraway land to ours.  Perhaps we may have some items of interest to you, such as fine silk, solid gold goblets, or slow-roasted acorns.

I welcome you into our territorial waters.  Will you stop off at one of our ports and join us in a prayer offering to the Great Squirrel to ensure a safe journey for you and your sailors?

We would, however, be interested in some of more scarce resources if you could spare them. However, I am aware that they are in short supply and if you need them for your own purpose I fully understand.
