Greetings, Lafitte, King of Pirates.

It has been a bloody, unexpectedly brutal tour, but I believe our cartographers have successfully mapped the previously uncharted lands of Campeche.  The pirate spirit seems to be everything the legends claimed it was.

I could not help but notice that your people are leaving this land in much the manner you arrived:  by the sea, and with pride.

The Dernish navy is preparing to make sail in pursuit, but perhaps enough blood has been spilled in the name of tourism.  Will you agree to a cease-fire with us, Pirate King?

Vali Capsavian Hopewell

OOC:  sad to see you go, Snarlin;  you put up a tactically-sound fight from start to finish, and made me pay for every yard.  I commend you, and hope that in the future we might fight alongside one another.
