To the leaders of this fine continent:

I, Emperor Xiaowen, have this day risen to power and establised the Wei Dynasty, a holy Buddhist state, with its capital in they holy Shrine of Shaolin.  We welcome an era of peace with all of our neighbors, and wish to pursue the contemplation of the mysteries of the Buddha.

To the end of maintaining peace, we will train and maintain sufficient martial forces to discourage any attacks on our people.  Be assured that these forces have no aggressive or offensive intentions, and will remain within our borders.

Greetings, Emperor Xiaowen, and congratulations on the foundation of the Wei Dynasty.  We understand your need for maintaining a standing army, and we would hope that you would stand with the Greek Buddhists in defending against anyone that aggressors that try to bring instability to the region... either to your country or ours.  We hear of contact being made with people from far away lands, and have no idea of their dispositions, although we hope they are peaceful.  One would hope they would be peaceful after confronting the smiling Buddha, but one can never know.

Hail Eleutherius!

The maintenance of stability is very important to our people, as peaceful contemplation requires ... well ... peace.

To assure that, we must impress upon potential enemies that our soldiers do not share body habitus with our god ...

Welcome Emperor, to our land. You will find this continent is most friendly with those who follow The Path. You appear to have succumbed to your 'religion' known as buddism. We have no specific qualms with this since, unlike other religions, it appears to involve some similarities with The Truth and may have originated from a basic lack of understanding of early followers of The One.

Your predecessor was indifferent to The Truth and even aided in war with our enemy. However, we will not hold this against you and your citizens. Instead we invite you to explore the opportunities presented by The Truth. Those who follow The Path benefit greatly from the friendship of The Founders as you will no doubt come to understand through the passage of time.
