Well it appears that our hopes of terrorist on the water was vanquished was wrong. It would seem the barbarians are very upset with their flag ship being sent to the bottom of the sea. There are 2 more barbarian ships heading our direction. God forbid, who is building these ships for them! Agarthia is preparing for battle. They are several days from our fisheries, but we plan to meet them far from the fishing grounds. More to post when the barbies arrive.

Good grief. How troubled it is in the northern highlands. Scotland wishes you well in dealing with this new threat. Scotland is fortunate that we do not to have to worry about such threats, since we do not yet even have the technology for fishing... Ignorance has its benefits I suppose. Greeting Munro,
We thank you for your kindness. Even though we are on opposite sides of our continent, we enjoy the cooperation and diplomatic respect between our nations. I want to take this moment and congratulate you on your successes of your war campaign. Agarthia has supported your cause. The Demonic Triad had to be delt with. We hope that your swords and cats dont reach our borders. I feel we have a respectable friendship that I hope would endure the test of time. Again, good luck on finishing your campaign friend.

The second barbarian ship has now arrived near our borders. The AS Extinction and AS Revenge were sent to destory the ship. With all the luck on the barbarian side, they managed to sink the AS Extinction. The AS Revenge followed very quickly and took out the barbarian ship. An investigation is being put together as to where these barbarians are getting the materials to build ships. We are getting close to an answer.

The Founders ship Fortune has sailed the coast near your nation and come across a lawless settlement known as Teoihuacan. It is possible this is the source of your distress with regard to lost fishermen and damaged boats. Should we be able to offer any assistance, please let us know.

We would welcome help from the founders in the form of military aid. We dont ask for a naval fleet, but if you come across any ships that fly the black flag, we ask you destroy them. There is one east of your ship that has just passed Macleod.

Should The Founders have a full naval fleet we would be happy to help with your plight. However, our knowledge of the seas (while clearly advanced compared to other nations) is limited and the crew of The Fortune are far from home. I dare not risk a mutiny in asking the men to risk their lives for people they barely know.
However, we may be able to draw the attention of these barbarians away from your shores. Who knows, perhaps their ship will get caught in the currents and be washed out to sea?

Well as stated before, we do not wish you to bring a naval fleet over. In fact, such a move would not be advised. As I am sure you agree, if a nation brings a fleet into a different hemishere, it could be seen as an act of aggression. We are just asking that if you are exploring the worlds waters and you see a ship that flys a black flag, that you dispose of it.

Were it so simple.
We have now discovered another barbaric boat further to the east. Our tiny vessel is well built and should withstand any attack but against two (and possibly more) I fear that is asking too much. Therefore it is with much regret that we sail back into the open ocean in the hope of finding a more peaceful life.

We ask for your prayers to The One for the safety of those aboard the Good Ship Fortune. In icy waters they have been trapped between barbarian galleys with unknown intent. I hope they survive the night.

We will say a prayer, but those barbarians are ruthless. They had no mercy on our fishermen years ago. Nuah

It is with great regret that I must report that the Good Ship Fortune has sunk without trace.
The crew's family can be very proud that this ship was the first to sail the seas. The first to encounter nations from another continent. An immense achievement.
It is such a shame then, that they should succumb to a single galley of mindless barbarians. It seems, Viktor, that these barbarians must have access to more powerful weapons that it would first appear - they are capable of destroying significantly more powerful ships with a single strike. How can this be?

My thoughts exactly. We are investigating the situation. We do believe they are working for a nation. A nation that is having them do their bidding. There is no other answer.

The Founders suspect it may be the work of the dokko.
Their mind control is legendry. Their leader went missing towards the end of The Great War and we have been unable to locate him or his closest lieutenants. A new group of personnell have moved into the last island city where we believed there may be a secret hiding place. We would like to search the city but have had difficulty speaking to the new settlers (their accent is extremely difficult to translate!)
We too are investigating. We have another ship out in the oceans and we have no desire for them to see the same fate.

Leonardo writes from his hermitage:
The discussions of dangerous nationless ships have found there way to me. And with that, the concern of the work of the dokko. As I have said before, look to Aidern for the haven of the dokko leadership, as the mind control exerted by Vali Hopewell on this continent can be nought else but their work.

Leonardo,
I find it funny that you still focus on ghosts and mind control as a central part of your idiology. For a nation on the run, I would hope you would put the things that matter first. There are no such things as ghosts or people that can control minds. Had you realized this years ago, your people may not be speaking babylonian right now. Agarthia is in control of her own actions. I can assure you that. As far as the barbarians, they are being helped by a nation. That nation will be delt with when we find out which one it is.

Ah, my dear Nuahs, We do not FOCUS on ghosts, but to have one of our own become possessed, we cannot pretend it did not happen. As to mind control, the subject is raised by the people of the Founders, who have had a close up experience with the dokko, and we take them at their word. Now you know, those who deny the possibility of mind control are most vulnerable to it. And to be controlled while being convinced you are not controlled is the essence of virtuosity in that field ... so perhaps the dokko and the Vali are playing you like a fiddle? You will be happy to hear that we are not on the run ... we have settled comfortable into our caves ... Leonardo
