King Lafitte,

It is with excitement and sadness that I must inform you a new era of chaos is upon is.  Our famous scottish red kilts have returned from their mercenary duty in faraway lands, restless with the joys and plunder of war, and excited for campaigns and expansion anew.

It is time for us to meet in battle.  I wish you and your troops a brave and honourable campaign.  To the battlefield!

Regards,
Munro

Honor?  Ye' don’ know the meanin’ o’ the word.  Munro, ye be a mangy cur!  Pull yer kilted, pansy-clad, mongrels back, or ye'll find me hook where ye don’ want it!

Och, I cannot.  I think we made the ration too high of pirate rum and the fighting spirit is too strong in them.  They are heading for the source!

Munro, what say ye?  Yer pink kilted vermin ha' taken our fine city o' Galveston and now yer offerin' peace?  Did ye find what ye were lookin' for...or mayhap ye found a bit more than ye were expectin'?  Thank ye fer the fun, but we've had enough of yer games.  Please don' be botherin' us again.

Aye, I'm all for a hearty scuffle, but your generals drummed up a formidable defence.  And with the discovery of a massive stash of pirate rum in the armory at Galveston... Och!  It's enough to make any general take pause..   There is rum enough here for a hundred years at least!

We salute the courage and skill of those who died in battle, and thank ye for a spirited fight.

Our generals were also interested to see the presence of several unusual battalions in the pirate army, organised into tightly packed groupings of 8 to 16 soldiers, and wearing feathered helmets of an unusual design...

It appears the armor and tactics are of a Yourcenean origins... our generals have asked for permission to investigate further..  Tongue

Aye, Munro!  We thank ye fer the fine battle.  Yer troops were quite fermiddable.  We appreciate yer honesty an' integrity in the declarations of both war and t' offerin' o' peace (unlike others attacking under the guise of "tour groups").  Truth is somthin' both the Scots and Pirates hold dear.  We accept yer terms, and look forward to a long an' lastin' peace 'tween our two nations.

Thank you King Lafitte.  Your men fought a fierce and honourable campaign.  Were it not for the battle of Livestockade things could have turned out very differently.

However, what's done is done and we will take the good fight elsewhere.  You have my word that we will not trouble you again.

May your sails fill with fair winds and your filing system with #2's and 3's. Smiley

Regards,
Munro
