I don't see a problem with it, it is not like she'll have the same relations as previously and the game should have changed enough that any previous knowledge she might have is rather irrelevant...
Well, without giving too much away, I believe she'll be in a very similar situation as far as relations go as previous. The Scottish Civ lies between Campeche and Aidern. Henna was pretty much in the same spot, albeit a bit closer to Rohan. The Scottish Civ has (my current read on the situation) close ties to Aidern, as did Henna.
I'm commenting here because I believe Campeche is probably the most affected. The Scots, friendly neighbors that they are, are on our doorstep.
What has changed? Well, most importantly, we all (Aidern & Scotland & Campeche/Rohan/Yourcenae) seem to be getting along well. We have open borders. Everyone seems to have a somewhat defensive, and not overly offensive posture as far as units go. There are trades ongoing. Scouts are traveling throughout all nations "trust, but verify". Peace and Prosperity abound.
What say I?
I say "Yeah". With one request. I'd ask that Nadine do her best to play the Civ as Quotey and Munro have been playing it. If they were planning a sneak attack on me in 10 turns, then so be it...I'll deal with it. But if their plan was to continue the "Civility", and not the "Chaos", then I'd ask that Scottish Civ continue in that manner. Or to put it perhaps another way, let's not attempt to role-play "Matriarch of Henna" back into the game, and instead let Nadine create either a new Scottish persona as she subs, or continue with the role-play as Quotey has set it up.
