URGENT DISPATCH TO ALL CARTHAGINIAN CITIES AND EMBASSIES

This morning Queen Dido met with her closest advisers regarding the war that erupted in the northern territories of Canada.  We have news that the meeting was longer than those held on the previous mornings and that General Hannibal had grim news from afar.  After the meeting, Queen Dido addressed the citizens of Tyre Nova from the palace balcony and made the following statement:

"It is with a sad heart that I must tell you that our Greek neighbors to the north have attacked and occupied the capital city of Canada.  The attack was unprovoked and against a peaceful nation of tribesman not unlike ourselves.  After consulting with other Greek neighbors, we have decided to stand united against this aggression.  As we speak, your brave generals and warriors prepare for war.  They do not enter the battlefield alone however, as they will be standing shoulder to shoulder with American and Carolingian warriors.

We did not go looking for this war, but alas it has found us and we can no longer stand idle.  Please keep the warriors in your thoughts and let them know that we all stand united.  If the Greek army leaves the Canadian capital and returns it to its rightful owner, I shall reconvene a diplomatic discussion with the Greek leader, but until that day there is nothing more to discuss."

Late last night a messenger was seen running through the streets of Tyre Nova on the way to the palace.  He brought news from America that they have ended the war with the Greeks and that the American leader, WarningU2, had agreed to peace.  Our operatives have not confirmed this news however, as the news comes as a great surprise to the Carthaginian people.  We suspect that the leader is simply being held captive or the royal seal on the message is counterfeit.

Our thoughts are still with our brave warriors and we only hope that our American allies have not succumbed to Greek aggression or treachery.

- Mago, official scribe to Queen Dido
