Day 3&4

As dawn broke today on this 3rd day of the war, the 1st Shadow division attacked the weakened city defenses of Alyssia.  Babylon has been beating the city for the past two days while our forces were taken up position on the NE side of the city.  The battle was fierce.  Shaunifer Ahirman, Viktors cousin died in the assault.  The shadow division entered the city and fought for 15 hours.  Shaunifer lost his life when a warrior came from behind and smashed his club into Shaunifers head.  The battle raged on as our troops went door to door clearing out the enemy.  The first hours of the battle took a toll on Agarthian troops.  We lost many men to New Avalonian swordsmen.  These units proved to be potent to the immortal regiment.  But as day 3 ended and 4 began, the city was 90% in our control.  A little after dawn, all that remained of New Avalonian forces was a warrior that was severly wounded.  An Agarthian axeman offered surrender, but the warrior refused.  The axeman threw his axe at the warrior busting his club and striking the warrior in the right arm, cutting him to his heart.  The warrior fell to his knees which marked the end of all defending forces in Alyssia.  When word reached Viktor of the victory, he had to make a decision to install a new government int he city, or wipe it off the face of the map.  With Viktor still bothered by Vladimire Ahrimans death, and now Shaunifer death,  Viktor ordered the troops to torch the city.  The Shadow divison sat and watched as the city went up in flames.

Day 5

Our troops decend apon the capital of New Avalon.  We are now going to offer Elkad a proposal.  Elkad, Agarthia knows that you will try to protect your lands, but its only a matter of time before you lose it all.  We know you have island cities and our navy is preparing to leave our shores.  We offer you this for peace:  You must abandon the two main cities on the mainland.  If you give Agarthia your capital and give Babylon the city south of your capital, we will leave your island cities alone.  We would offer you an iron clad treaty that your island cities would be safe and would not be attacked.  We would also offer you that if available, we will trade you resources that you need. (only if available).  The troops that are in the capital would be gifted to Agarthia, the troops in your last mainland city would be gifted to Babylon.  Agarthia would also provide a worker to you for the one that you lost.  We know this would be painful to your people, but either we take the cities by force and then your island cities, or you give us the two mainland cities and you can live in peace on the islands forever.  What do you say?

Day 6

It appears we have a deal in place.  Elkad has accepted the deal we offered him.  More details of this will be provided later as the transition from war to peace becomes real.

Day 7-8

Elkad has agreed to our terms.  2 cities on the mainland will be abandoned.  Agarthia will let Elkad keep all troops, which he will ship to his island cities.  Elkad has already abandoned Hiko, which was taken over by the Babylonians.  Since part 1 of 2 of the peace plan has taken place, the Babylonians have signed peace with New Avalon.  Agarthia will sign peace in 2 turns so long as the capital is abandoned by then.  The Agarthian navy will stand by and watch the situation.  Elkad, you have chosen the right path.  We applaud your smart decision.

Day 9-10

All Agarthian troops are now stationed on the hill outside of the capital of New Avalon.  Reinforcements have returned to Agarthia as the war is winding down.  As far as we can see, New Avalon is almost complete in the troop transfer from the mainland to his islands.
