I am Gunther, emissary of His Excellency Carolus Maltman of the Holy Carolingian Empire.

Your people have long been our neighbours through the jungle, but we hear tidings of a change in government. We wish to send you our well wishes, and are quite confident you will maintain the same treaty status as we had with your predecessor. Notably, to keep to your side of the jungle, and stay out of each others' way. Your people have not been the friendliest to visitors, and we will do everything we can to protect our own. I'm sure you'll understand this basic philosophy, and seek greener pastures in another direction.

Your ambassador is welcome to come upriver to Aachen to taste our world-famous schnitzels in our annual Novemberfest. Let us know how many seats to keep for you at the Emperor's table of honour.
