Ahoy, Pirate King.

I could not help but notice that you have assembled an impressive crew of soldiers just outside of Fort Wrought's borders.  Perhaps you were not privy to news from the south, but your Rohirrim friends and I are very near to signing a permanent peace treaty.  It would be very respectful of you to withdraw your forces back to your borders so they are not viewed as a potential threat by my citizens.

I am sure you understand, as I doubt you would tolerate a large force from Aidern to camp out near your towns.

Be Well, King Lafitte.

Progress is slow for my tastes as well, Pirate King, but such is how these things work, unfortunately.

Thank you for withdrawing some of your soldiers.  I noticed your horsemen are still camped along River Wrought--no doubt enjoying the refreshing waters for their steeds.  Once they are done, it would be nice for them to continue on their way, since that is immediately next to our borders now.  The river thankfully does flow downstream into Campeche, so they have plenty of enjoyable beverages awaiting them at home.

Ahoy Vali!

It appears you didn’t see our sign (t' Yourcenae helped us with t' spellin').

We “acquired” these wee beasties from our buckos, t’ Rohan an’ they be a bit spirited for our taste.  We be used t' ridin' t' seas and not chariots

This meadow seems a fine place t' set up our market.  We’ll be stayin' 'til our business be completed.  If'n ye'd like t' make an offer...we'd be willin' to listen.

 Grin  Cheesy

That's a fine sign indeed.  Yes, I can see the Yourcenean influences in the spelling already.  hmmm

Well, let me know what your asking price is, Pirate King.

Hail Vali Hopewell and King Lafitte!

It appears that our wandering fool, Dyslexius, found his way to Campeche and provided the "assistance" with the sign ...

King Lafitte, if you are looking for someone to take these fine stallions off your hands, perhaps we can come to some agreement.  Our great charioteer, Triomedes, is looking for some fresh blood for his stables, I believe.  Let us discuss this further in private ...
