Henna Destroyed, Government in Exile
Aiderness, Aidern 2025 BCE

A proud nation torn apart by war and untold losses at the hands of the Demonic Triad, is no more.

The Hennan government, along with a small handful of refugees, has managed to escape to Aidern, where the government remains in exile.  A conditional cease-fire was accepted by the Triad, permitting wounded soldiers to leave their homes and lands behind as they relocated to the settlement of Aiderness in south Aidern.

With the Dernish ally routed, Vali Hopewell has agreed to negotiate a lasting peace treaty with Yourcenae, Campeche, and Rohan.  Terms have been delivered to the Yourcenean embassy and KhinStormbull's Demon Hunter Regiment has been ordered to vacate Rohan as a show of goodwill.

The armies have been ordered to withdraw, but will not stand down until the Triad and Aidern find common ground in a formal Treatise.  Analysts say, however, that both sides stand to lose much more than they would gain, given the respective military strength and ever-increasing distances that must be traversed.

Regardless, the Dernish people are making room for the throngs of Hennan refugees.  It's not yet known where the Matriarch herself will reside, though at present she remains in Fort Wrought, assisting with the first wave of refugees in finding jobs.
