Henna Collapses in ChaosNeddings, Henna 2325 BCEThe star that once was Henna has now fallen, as the Demonic Triad lays waste to the once-prosperous Henna Basin.
Port-au-Pwnie was the first settlement to be razed by the western armies of the Demon King. Contact has been lost with the southern coastal city of Janus, and now reports are coming in of an imminent capture of the economic center of Vita.
Only the capitol of Neddings remains, and even it has the unwelcome guests of the Demon King's vast armies digging trenches and raining arrows from the hills above. Pastures and fields have been burned, and outlying villages have become a source of entertainment for the demonic Riders of Rohan who have made use of the young girls in their sadistic games. Not even the cattle are exempt from the rapings, or so word amongst the besieged Hennans goes.
Refugees from Vita were able to find their way to safe harbor amongst friends, and they bring tales of abhorrent atrocities. The invaders bathe in the blood of children, forcing the parents to watch. Men are made to dig graves for their families while their daughters and wives are passed around amongst the ravenous captors. Some say that the officers of the Yourcenean horde hide horns beneath their caps, while others claim that Rohirrim generals are hooved.
These tales would seem fantastic and outrageous, but nobody would have guessed that demons even existed on this plane even two generations ago--and yet that has been proven to be true within sight of Hoofport and amongst the Central Drylands. If this can be true, is it any stretch that these other eye-witness accounts may have some merit?
The cries of outrage amongst the Dernish populace have largely quieted in the wake of these horrific tales. Dernish forces continue to focus on building walls and defenses, as the fear of an inevitable attack by the Demon Triad is never far from the minds of all citizens of Aidern.
