Demonic Triad Massacres HennansNeddings, Henna 2450 BCEIn a shocking display of brutality, correspondents of
The Dern Report bore witness to war on a scale unseen previously in history.
The Tribes of Henna are the unlucky recipients of the wrath of the Demon King and his allies.
Already, the Port-au-Pwnie has been razed to the ground by agents of the Demon King under the flag of his own Yourcenean colors. Close behind were elite axe-wielding pirate raiders from the land of Campeche.
To the east of Henna, the capitol city of Neddings has been under siege for several years, chiefly by the infamous Riders of Rohan. The desperate citizens of Neddings watched as their farms and pastures were burned, their cattle slaughtered en masse. The allies of the Demon King appear to have very little regard for life.
This coalition organized by the Demon King has been frighteningly efficient in their machinations, coordinating simultaneous attacks along all fronts. The Henna Basin, once a peaceful refuge for wildlife, is now devoid of all but the hideous taunts and blood-curdling screams of the invading forces.
Even as the Dernish ally scrambles in a doomed attempt to hold its defenses against vastly superior forces, Aidern remains focused inward. Warhawks have been calling on the Vali to declare war on the Demonic Triad, but Capsavian has pointed to the fact that it would be an empty gesture as, "We have barely the forces to defend our OWN borders."
With the silent, stoic Scots to the north of the Chisel Mountains, perhaps wariness and a conservative approach is indeed in order. And yet it is painful to realize that Henna's attackers likely will not stop with her demise.
Indeed, Aidern has no option but to build walls and train as many archers as possible, to prepare for that day.
