With Yourcenae, Peace in the East; War in the WestPort-au-Pwnie, Henna 2625 BCEBefore the ink on a new cease-fire with Yourcenae has even dried, already the regional power has shifted its antagonism toward the Tribes of Henna.
On his way to deliver a signed cease-fire proposed by the Yourceneans, a messenger from Aidern witnessed a battle between the Yourceneans and Hennan warriors. The fight occurred on the lone road between Port-au-Pwnie and Vita in western Henna. The conflict was apparently sparked when a detachment of Yourcenean archers, led by the famous Singlis, attempted to block the roadway in territory claimed by Henna.
According to the Matriarch of Henna, the Yourceneans were "planning to cut off the solo supply route to Port-au-Pwnie for a preemptive attack." According to the Matriarch, the Yourceneans have "multiple squads of raiders lining up" on the Hennan borders.
The Matriarch also has noted that the nation of Rohan has a significant force maneuvering around the borderlands, though their intent as yet has not been voiced.
Vali Hopewell's statement on these events was, "We were hoping that the release of Leonardo and cease-fire withe antagonistic Yourceneans would lead to an era of peace in the region. It seems that war is never far away."
No official announcement has been made as far as Aidern's involvement--if any--will be with respect to events in Henna. Currently efforts appear to be focusing on domestic defenses and strengthening of Aidern's own borders.
