Departed friends

Groups of men left the safety of our borders in search of answers. Quite what they were looking for I don't know. The Truth is all the answers one could need, and The God has provided The Words to share this with us mere mortals.

Yet these men felt there was more, and went into the jungle to the North. Word has just come back that they have been surrounded by great black beasts. Their fate is not yet known, but I pray they will survive the night.

The scouting party survived the night!

The great black beasts disappeared back into the jungle. Shouts were heard in the distance as the Founders men made their way back to the safety of home.

While we may not think much of the Dokkos men and their primitive language, we wish them no harm and hope they were not ambushed by these animals.

More news from our explorers in the jungle. They were set upon by more beasts last night. They were named Lions by the first man to kill one and that name shall stay. Fortunately no injuries were sustained and the men will carry on tomorrow in their search for answers.

<We did fight the great black beasts and survived, although our men were severly wounded and are now camping out in the jungle to recoup their strength. We too have met upon these beast called lions, although so far they haven't proved much of a problem. We also saw some great brown beasts which looked formidable, be aware of these as well.>

Another night, another tale of beasts in the Jungle. More lions set upon our small camp. Fortunately we had chosen a good spot, high on the hill and saw them coming in the moonlight.

The very next morning we stumbled upon another group of warriors wandering the area. At first they seemed to belong to the Dokkos tribe, but then we realised they were of a slightly different complexion. Minimal greetings have been exchanged and we established they are ruled by their leader Carolus Maltman.

Quite why they did not aid us against the beasts last night I do not know. Perhaps they are afraid of them? Or afraid of us? Or perhaps they control the lions and sought to send us to our graves? Either way, they seem quite primitive to me and probably not worth the effort.
