Wiener Schnitzel on the Mosel

Our first group of warriors and lay people set out from the Saxon Forest surrounding Prague, in search of new lands. They struck east and soon found the lower reaches of the River Mosel, and a pleasant valley surrounded by formations of useful looking rock, and wild swine that they found to be extremely tasty. Our chefs have learned of a way to fry them up in a sort of batter to make the most delightful dish. And it seems to go so well with the pickled cabbage they brought along on the journey.

Such a pleasant place, along the river, and a new culinary centre? I have given them the order to settle there, and have called this new city Vienna on the Mosel. And the dish? The chef is one Alfred Schnitz, so in his honour, it is Wiener Schnitzel. I have sent for a wagon of this dish to come back to our palace. I hope it keeps.
