We're Not AloneChisel Pass, Aidern 3925 BCEThe local populace of this arid mining community high in the imposing Chisel Mountains have expressed bewilderment and curiosity at the discovery of other seemingly-civilized humans dwelling just beyond the foothills.
Not much is known about these people, however emissaries are being sent out in hopes of learning more.
"For many years, we have suspected that we were not alone," said Vali Hopewell on Tuesday. "Now we know that to be fact. Whether they are benevolent or malevolent, that remains to be seen."
As a precaution, the local farmers are being organized into makeshift militia squads, in the event that the latter proves to be the case. It is yet unknown whether the new arrivals can be dealt with in the manner of which previous incursions of wildlife have been, or if the aggressive drum cadence will simply result in an impromptu neolithic rave.
