As the subject says...please post here if you want an embassy (board) for your nation.  Just let me know what your country's name is.

Your country's embassy is a great place to post news and announcements concerning your nation and to publicly negotiate with neighbors, in addition to using private messages for more discreet negotiations.  It's also your point of first contact when you meet another nation in-game.

Tip: subscribe to your embassy by clicking the NOTIFY button, so you will receive an email notification whenever someone posts a message to you.

I'm not sure I know what you mean, Oyzar?  Any threads in these forums will be visible at a minimum by me, as admin (other than PMs of course).

If you want to create a diary of sorts visible only to you, the most efficient route might be to just write in a Word document on your computer.  Then, you can copy/paste it into the forums when you feel ready to reveal it to the world.

A spoiler that other people can't read.. Like in http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=121 this forum for example (for arboria masters another pitboss game i am in). Ofc it could be based just on trust, but it would be better if you mad a thread in my forum that only you and me could see for example(or a forum where every person have such a thread...). Though it could be nice if outsiders could see it but i guess that would be hard to enforce...

These embassies have each been set up and are ready for use (even if the game isn't yet itself!  Cheesy

Oyzar, I'll certainly work with you to set up what you may need for your embassy, though I'm still not really sure how a spoiler board can technically work to permit non-players access but not registered players.  Any way you slice it, it still ends up being spaghetti!

Sorry! But atm as we float through time and space we have all met and not yet, any memories of these meetings might long have passed or not yet happened when we start the actual game...

We got a bit sloppy with this in ChaosCiv I, I'll admit, bouncing in and out of character in the Civility board.  Guess it'll be good for us to try to stay in-character in the embassies whenever possible.  If you have to post OOC within the IC forums, maybe we can get into the habit of changing our font color or something.  Or I can make an OOC smiley which we can insert before any OOC posts.
