Sure Sisiutil, no problem.

Mansa Musa was always my favorite pre-BtS.  I still like him, but find Spiritual to be less useful than Industrious.  I do love the Malinese UU maybe best of all civs though, to be honest.

Now you've got me considering a switch!  Tongue

Well, I've decided I need to join the majority.  Please change my leader choice to Pacal II.

If there was a CRE/CHA leader it would have been my choice. I also didn't want to choose the same leader as others. I think I can do something with IMP.

With the 90th Pacal joining, we may get every Mayan city name.

Still more Dutch than anyone else!  We will end up with some ethnic wars yet. Tongue

And I don't know about you, but I enjoy renaming my cities and units (not to mention placing signs all over to name the mountains, rivers, and forests).

Are the choises made so far... Funny how ind imp and pro got 14 choices total. I find these traits almost useless on this kind of map ind(you can't really go for wonders without resource with so many players anyways and ind doesn't help all that much if you do have the resource), imp(all the expansion is almost over by the time we start so the settler part won't see all that much use with such a cramped map and the gg part doesn't do all that much), pro(wars aren't won by defending, it doesn't help you win, just to not lose). Especially Spi(0) Cha(1) and Phi(3) are neglected, i consider these among the very top traits yet there were more who chose either of imp/ind/pro over these!! Otherwise there is a huge overweight of financial because people obviously like the effect it have on the game as it is quite simple to make quite ok...

Well, someone has too much time on his hands ...  Grin  Cheesy  Wink

If there were ever a University of CIV, oyzar would have to be the Dean!  Cool

Industrious? Really? I find that to be one of the very worst traits for mp. Not only for the reasons stated before but also because wonders make you more of a target and that you rather want to spend your hammers on other things most of the time. It also have the least benefit of any trait as you over the course of the game end up actually building quite few wonders, industrious or not. Even protective or imperialistic is better :p. Spiritual have indeed gotten worse in bts due to the improved GA's where everyone can play wannabe spiritual...

Yeah, but the wannabes have to wait and plan for those civic switches, whereas Spiritual can do it anytime, on the fly. And can use their Great People for other purposes, if need be.  Wink

I'm surprised to see so many Creatives, really.  I know it's useful early-game to have that bonus culture, but the longer the game goes, the less valuable that trait becomes.  But I suppose the logic is that an expansive border helps ensure that one's civ will have a chance at being alive for late-game. Wink

And yes, I do like being Industrious.  And I like the Incan UU, even if the Malinese UU and UB are better. Cheesy  I have odd tastes!

The incan UU is nearuseless in mp where people defend with warriors as much as with archers.. Cre is useful for blocking others or winning culture wars too i guess, getting the extra 20 culture per turn per title earlier is quite good... But yeah with advanced start it does get worse because you can build culture, but i guess whatever makes game more fun for people, and building monuments isn't all that fun Tongue.

That's embarrassing, huh?  You'd better hope there aren't any Scots reading this, as I've heard they can be rather nationalistic. Wink

Embarassed that I am changing my leader again. I'm a Scot myself. And you're right about the nationalism, but I won't get into that Smiley

Please give me the incans, if these are available, or any other available spot.

Best regards

If you intend to reroll, I have another civ and leader request, if that is fine by you? Smiley

Celtics with Boudicea would be my choice Smiley Of course if it is ok by you.

I would like Emperors civilization "Parkinstan" renamed to Provolutions civilization "Cuzcan City States". My theme will be very much in line with historical Incas.

We have all but one civ claimed and played according to civstats.  Somebody needs to grab one of the Maya.

What is the civstats pw for leader registration?

oyzar invited me to these forums.  If there is a spot that comes available for this game, I'd like to be considered to fill in.

Thanks for joining us, Kingpin.  We are waiting on one player yet.  If he doesn't show up by this evening (local time; GMT -7) the spot is yours.  Smiley

Even if he does make it by the cut-off, we will certainly keep you in mind as a replacement should the need arise (with 28 players, the odds are good!).

Well, after all, I am the Incas, not Mayas, so I am good. You should rather direct questionable attention to the player that allegedly should be Mayan.

I think we're all waiting on Karayanev (again).
